Tally collects the information needed to operate the service, including your profile details, reading activity, reading sessions, optional notes, optional photos, social graph activity, and the safe location labels you choose to attach to reading moments. We use this data to power your library, progress surfaces, social feed, statistics, and archive features.
Authentication and core app data are handled through infrastructure providers such as Supabase. Subscription and entitlement status may be handled through RevenueCat and the Apple App Store when Premium is offered. Analytics and crash reporting tools may be used to understand product performance, diagnose issues, and improve reliability.
Location is intended to be privacy-aware. Exact coordinates are not meant to be shown publicly by default. Public surfaces should only expose safer labels, such as city or place names, when the account and content settings allow that visibility.
You can request account deletion through the delete-account flow and any official support contact made available in the app listing or support surfaces. When deletion is processed, we aim to remove or anonymize user-controlled data unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, billing, or legal compliance.
If the product introduces additional data uses, third-party processors, or advertising-related flows, this policy should be updated before those changes are released. The production privacy policy URL should always reflect the data handling practices of the live app.
